Dr. Jaclyn Ehl is a Wisconsin native and a recent graduate from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. Her parents continue to live in Waunakee, where she was born and raised, and her sister, niece and nephew reside in Texas. She loves watching niece and nephew grow up and she tries to visit them in Texas at least once a year. Dr. Jaclyn also loves camping and has been doing it since she was a baby.
Growing up Dr. Jaclyn enjoyed playing soccer and fast-pitched softball. She was first introduce to chiropractic care after an injury during a 7th grade soccer tournament. The injury resulted lower back pain so severe that walking was even difficult, but improved drastically with a spinal adjustment from a chiropractor.
After high school, she completed the Therapeutic Massage certification program at Madison Area Technical College (MATC) where she learned how to help a variety of clients, including pregnant women, seniors, and individuals with other health challenges. It was during her studies at MATC that she decided to pursue her dream of becoming a chiropractor and went on to enroll at UW-Whitewater, focusing on biology. Dr. Jaclyn earned her Doctorate of Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic and she is National Boards certified. While at Palmer College, she was a teaching assistant for classes about rehabilitation techniques that help patients relieve pain and build strength to stabilize their back to prevent the pain from returning.
Dr. Jaclyn is working towards specializing in chiropractic care for pediatrics and pregnant women. Even from a young age, she has always loved caring for infants and young children. Her philosophy is that chiropractic adjustments during pregnancy provide the baby with the greatest potential for healthy growth while also relieving pregnancy pain for the mothers, helping them stay healthy and active. Chiropractic care after the trauma of birth, while learning to crawl, walk and ride a bike, and during the growth spurts of adolescence supports proper development into adulthood.
Dr. Jaclyn is very excited to serve the greater Madison area and help patients care for their nervous systems to maximize their greatest potential!
